hi
im trying to find the bitrate of a movie in divx format so i can add a part to it, i know i have to match the bitrate of it for it to join, how do i find the bitrate of the original divx in kilobits per second?

right clik the file
go to properties
clik on detail tab
should give you plenty of info there -
thanx but i already tried that
it said 110KB, and i tried encoding the clip i wanted to join to it at 110KB (on that slider thing when u choose the data rate to encode at, its default is like 900 kilosomething/sec)
but still it wouldnt join
the reason i wanted to do this is to fix the movie, cuz i had to export the broken parts and repair them and rejoin them, but it was so broken i just got the movie again lol
