  1. having problems when i try to play vcd (mpeg's)...it looks fine on my computer..but when i burn it.and play it... the sound is perfect.but the video is all scrambled.... i use 74 min cdr's..the ones that are silver on the top.and green on the bottom.. i think the same problem happened with 80 min office depot cdrs.... anyways..anyone know how to fix this problem... i even converted some .mov files with EO video..to mpeg...and they look fine on my computer.but like crap on my apex... plz help before i waste any more cds

  2. My Apex 660 has that problem too. Might be the media b.c I remember at one time it playing my VCDs fine. I would try other media or even the newer Apex 1200, 1500. I use a 1500 for all VCD, SVCD and the 660 for all DVDs that have a high use of Macrovision.

    Give other media a try.

  3. yea..i tried on my ad 1200...and all the files worked...except 1 file had a sound glitch...like one person had a chipmunk kind of voice... i'm kind of confused...i thought the ad 660 was better than the 1200... also any way to fix the 660?

  5. and some DVD players are crap. only thing good about the 660 is the macrovision removal.
