    Having searched several websites, including this one I can't find a code to enter so the dvd will play vcd. Model :Akura APDV149T-S CTV/DVD COMBI. Or can't it be done? Thankyou!

    Perhaps not...
    not all DVD players are VCD/SVCD compatable.

    Have you looked on the compatibility list on this site? Have you tried making the mpeg with TMPGEnc by loading a VCD template (PAL/NTSC) ?

    You would not normally need to enter a code for VCD, only for region DVD hacks, is this what you are thinking about ? there are no region VCD's
