    i have got 2 wharfedale 750 dvd players, one of them will play vcds with no problem but the other will not, in the specs. it says they will play dvds, cds, vcds & cdrs. can anyone help in trying to get it playing vcds?

    Well if it plays "CDR VCD" not just VCD, as VCD are commercial disks. Then it may be the type of disk your using.

    Start by making a fully compliant Mpeg 1 in TMPGEnc.
    Load a PAL/NTSC VCD template.

    Then use a different brand of disk, Maxell or TDK should be just fine. Don't know if your writer is old, you may need to burn at a lower speed.
