i am thinking of geting a dvd burner..which would you get first a stand alone one or one for the computer the first thing i want to do is make backups of all my red dwarf vhs tapes and other complete sets i have
which equipment would be better for backing them up and which way is easy giveing the best copy..could you simply plug the vcr into the dvd stand alone burner/player
and i want to edit some tapes both vhs& 8mm camcorder in my computer
i all ready have a pctv rave card in my computer its must be 2 years old now... that is the card not the computer and have messed about with that makeing vcd,s&svcd,s very short films only 30 mins max but they will not play in my grundig 620 ht hopeing that a dvd burner will be a lot better but could a cap/card output to a stand alone burner/player
i will as money allows get a stand alone dvdburner/player..burner for the computer better cap/card and a new digi camcorder etc for my new hobby but what order would you get them in and which models do you think best also which software...what do you use any cobo,s i should watch out for
sorry this was so long but will be buying the first item in a few weeks and need your advice so i dont waste time/money and then think hell i should have got that model
