  1. I get an error when trying to create the bin/cue after finishing with all the menus and stuff. Here is a copy of my log, line in bold is the error:

    Starting VCDxBuild process...

    initializing libvcd 0.7.12 [cygwin/i686]

this is the UNSTABLE development branch!
use only if you know what you are doing
    see http://www.hvrlab.org/~hvr/vcdimager/ for more information

scanning mpeg sequence item "menu-2" for scanpoints...

generated image (359940 sectors [79:59.15]) may not fit on 74min CDRs (333000 sectors)
file `D:\NEWSGR~1\ALTBIN~1.SVC\dvd2svcd\trektest.cue' exist already, will get overwritten!
    file vcd_files.c: line 781 (_get_scandata_table): assertion failed: (i = _get_scandata_count (info))

    VCDxBuild finished

The program creates the cue file, but no bin. I'm still very new to adding menus, is this the best program for multiple chapter menus? I've tried I-Author without much luck, that program won't seem to let me make cd-images that are over 70 min? Anybody have some insight?

Try VCD Easy... I found it to be a lot more accurate (and intuitive) than TSCV.

    Not sure on your menus...

I think VCD Easy may preform a couple "compliance checks" that TSCV may not, to be honest I don't know for sure.

Is this a VCD you're making, or SVCD?

    Another thought...

By any chance, did you multiplex your video as "MPEG", or did you multiplex it as "MPEG-1 Video CD", or "MPEG-2 Super Video CD"?

It occurred to me that the "mpeg stream shorter than 75 sectors" might indicate a multiplexing problem. If it's not a certain block size (? don't know if that's the term ?) then it won't work as a VCD or SVCD.

This is a SVCD. Enverything was done with dvd2svcd and I'm using the muxed .mpg to make a SVCD with menus.

TSCV uses VCDimager to make the .bin files, so does VCDEasy. When I load the .xml file from TSCV into VCDEasy, I get the exact same error.
