  1. I am trying to fix my 4:3 issues caused by SpruceUp output. I don't have the original disc to check so I am guessing what to set in IFOEdit for A\R options. With Ocean's 11, for example, if I change the movie's A\R to 16:9 it plays\looks fine in IFOEdit player. Same if I set it to 16:9 with auto letterbox. But how do I know if I am supposed to check automatic letterbox, etc.? Same with the menu. I made the menu myself in SpruceUp so I don't know what A\R to use: 4:3, 16:9, auto p\s, auto letterbox, letterbox (cropped), etc. Where can I find what those different settings will do?

To compare I popped in Blade II. Menu is 16:9 p\s. Movie is 16:9 letterbox. I thought that might help, but I don't really see any difference with O11 menu if I set it to 16:9 p\s vs. 16:9 and no letterbox or p\s. Help, please. Thanks.

    Scott.

  2. What, no help?

I did see in the DVD2DVDR tutorial to look at the ifo from the rip to see what you should set the entrie to, but since I don't have the originals it doesn't matter anyway. Still don't know what the best settings are to use for my copies of O11, Serendipity and The One. I think I should be setting the menu to 16:9 p\s so that it comes out widescreen even on 4X3 TV so there is no letterboxing, like most menus do. And then 16:9 automatic letterbox on the main title so it is widescreen on my TV and letterboxe on 4:3. But I don't know for certain what automatic letterboxing and automatic p\s do and when I should use them. I am just looking at the original disc for Blade II as a comparison. Still could use some help to be sure. Thanks.
