  1. Hi, I have just purchased a pioneer drv 104 and have just creared my first dvd-r and it WORKS!
My query is : when I try to strip a large movie ie phantom menace , using smartripper I encounter the 4GB file limit. How can I cut the m2v file so it does say 50% of the movie in smartripper? So I end up with 2 smaller files?Or what other programs should I use?
I tried splitting TPM with ifoedit but I find that the opening credits repeat themselves!
Has anyone ripped it successfully ?
Iknow that to overcome the file limit I have to upgrade to win2000 or XP
    thanks

  4. I am using Win2000 Pro (Thank God)! And I also use IfoEdit to strip streams I don't need (ie. Spanish, French, etc. subs and audio) Here's a link I used to learn how to use IfoEdit.

  5. Lok at the settings in Smartripper and make sure max file size is set to 9000MB instead of 4000MB which is default. And i assume your are using an ntfs file system i.e win 2k or xp pro. If not u need to upgrade to do sucessful dvds.
