Please help with DVD workshop 1.2

I'm having a really strange problem with ulead dvd workshop 1.2. I used the trial version of workshop 1.0 to burn several dvd's wthout any problems. I recently upgraded to the full version of 1.2. The first disk I wrote today has no sound. I did find it strange that when I first clicked on the make disk button , it told me "mpeg audio is not a standard audio type for ntsc dvd. do you still want to use it?" What other choice did I have? it was a dvd complient mpeg2 file(audio+video). The same kind that I used to author several dvd's with the trial 1.0. I'm really stumped here. What am I missing? Please someone help
