  1. I have posted a question related to this once before in a different section, but now I have narrowed the problem down to being My DVD player not My software(at least I think not).

The file plays fine on the PC however after burning I have a audio/video sync problem, which has been as much as 2 to 3 secs out, I tried playing the SVCD on My DVD-Rom (Pioneer DVD-106S) and found that the sync problem wasnt there at all.

This problem is driving Me crazy, as its very irritating, anyone have any ideas that might help Me please? Maybe a real big hammer applied to My DVD player and get Myself another one, lol.

    Thanks for Your time

    Search Comp PM
it ( from the dvd players list ) appears to be mux and pad sensitive.

VCDeasy was reported to give better sync. I would also try bbMPEG as your muxer ( search for info it's impossible to figure out how to just mux ). I personally find bbMPEG's muxer superior and quicker than TMPGenc.

    Good luck

  3. Thank You Snowmoon,

Ill look around, Im not sure what being Mux and Pad sensitive is but sure its here somewhere on the forum. Also I have tried VCDeasy and can never get it to actually create a valid (S)Vcd.

I have only just started looking at bbMPEG but its good to know its good

Well Im off to get some CD-RW so I can stop throwing away My Single Writes lol, thanks for the help and if anyone has anymore info , Your help would be appreciated

-Edit ~ Thanks Again Snowmoon , I just looked up the DVD Player listing and I think I found the answer to My Problem, I wish I knew this list was here before lol, well Im off to fix My problem up ~
