Hello,
I'm interested in DVD->VCD, and I checked out http://homepage.mac.com/rnc/ and would like to try his methods, however, I do not see a recommendation for ripping software. Does anyone have a suggestion?
I have an iBook 700 with DVD/CDRW and OSX.2
Thanks,
Mike

You have 3 options. They are listed in "my" favorite order.
#1. OSex
#2. Yade
#3. DVD Extractor
Search the tools section.

OSex is a ripper, huh? I always thought that people were just trying to be funny with OS X. hmm...
Thanks! -
Yes and it is a really good one.

Actually I think the pronunciation is "zero sex" for the ripper software. You'll notice the filename starts with the numeral zero, not the letter o ("oh").
Once 0Sex came to the OS X platform, I thoroughly gave up YADE!
