Hello people !!
I recently converted an old AVI file ( about 330meg ) to MPEG to put on a VCD. The problem was, that on my pc, it played fine, when i converted it to MPEG and put it on VCD, it didnt play smoothly, it kinda stammered along, very slightly, but things jump along, its not really bad, not enough to totally spoil watching it. but its enough to notice it
any help or advice greatly apprecated
A.

The problem lies in the AVI file you used. I presume it was a DivX?
DivX files often have frame rates incompatible with VCD so display the symptoms you experienced after they have been converted.
