  1. i burn svcds of dloads for my buds and my brother, well we all have windows xp and some media players play the svcds and others dont!? i burn with nero convert with tmpenc. ive burned loads of stuff for one guy and his media player says unsupported type? i brought it home and it plasyed right away as well as my bros comp.
    unrelated question but is it true spruceup wont burn to pioneer a104, win xp compatible?

  2. Your pal's comp might not have mpeg2 coded. Tell him to install any dvd software player to get the right code into his comp. If he doesnt want to install then he has to search for mpeg2 code and install only the code.

  3. sounds good he need only install any program that plays dvds? n e ideas? more specific?my media player has a dvd player and his comp. has a dvd rom? i havent asked if hes played dvds with it but i assume it will

    Tell him just to install a MPEG2 CODEC. And that should resolve his playback problems.

    But why would anyone wanna watch a movie on their PC? Unless of course theny have a 19" monitor, or a video out capable video card and they just use their PC as a $1500 VCD player.

  5. i dload porn and music vids the porn often times is viewed in private. you can also copy edit etc.so thats why they want it on comp. where do you dloads the codec?.

    if you install the demos of either windvd or powerdvd you can play mpeg2 svcds

    Maybe you had some preinstalled player and I think the nimo codec pack includes mpeg2 codecs?
    Cause dvds or svcd didn't work for me after a clean install of winxp.
