Hey all, newcomer to DVD Authoring.
I created my first succesffull DVD Disc last week, using the VCD Encoding option in ATIMMC 7.5. I managed to fit about 8 20 minute episodes on one 4.7GB DVD disc using this option, but the audio turned out way too loud. The settings for this option are; MPEG 1, 352X240 1.05 MB/s, 44.100 KHZ, 16 Bit Stereo.
However, a Question...
I wanted a higher quality picture for my next disc, hoping to fit at least 6 episodes on one DVD. The Final File size of the episode turned out to be 650MB's each. In theory, I should be able to fit all 6 comfortably on a 4.7GB DVD. However, MyDVD adds at least another 50 MB's onto it when I import the file.
Am I doing something wrong when encoding it in the ATIMMC? Or is it something MyDVD is doing to my files, that is adding on the extra MB's?
The new setting I am using to encode these episodes is the 'Longer' option. Specs are; MPEG 2, 640X240, 2.00 Bit/Second, 44.100 KHZ, 16Bit Stereo.
Any help will be appreciated![/list]
