I've successfully create .sub file and .bmp files, and now I try to use
winsubmux to merge them with a mpeg-2 file and create svcd.

But I don't know how to use winsubmux and I cannot find any article with photos illustrated.

I don't think that there are any articles on it, but it's not that hard. You could probably figure it all out just by playing with the GUI a little bit, but I'll give you the short version. I'll assume that your .sub file is already in the format WinSubMux uses.

Open WinSubMux. At the top, click the button on the right to open your MPEG. It'll give you a default name for the output MPEG, use it or change it, it doesn't matter. Check the box for stream #0 and click the button at the right to open your .sub file. Click "Load all", pick your subtitle type (CVD or SVCD, just try each to see which one your DVD player likes), and click "Multiplex". Burn the output file to SVCD like any other MPEG.

You can also do time correction, so if your subtitles are all showing up n seconds too early you can use WinSubMux to make the change to all the timestamps and save a new .sub file.

Make your window bigger. A lot bigger. Or make your font size smaller.
