    Is there a way to convert from avi (or mpg) to .m2v & ac3 format.

    .m2v is mpeg format stream already .. to convert a avi to mpeg follow one of the many guides on the left ..

    ac3 is a audio format and you can convert the avi mp3 or ac3 or pcm audio to another format ..

    not sure what you want to do for any more help than that

    I have mpg files that I want to author using Maestro.
    Maestro will NOT accept mpg files, so hence the question on how to convert to a format that maestro CAN use.
