Here is what I am thinking.
1) I have ripped a VOB with OSEx
2) I drop the VOB in bbDEMUX it splits it into a .m1v file and a .ac3 file (and a bunch of other junk)
3) I use mp2enc in Missing Mpeg tools to convert the AC3 to an .mp2
4) I use Xplex to multiplex the .m1v file and the .mp2 file
5) I now have a .mpg file that I should be able to play in QT5 but I don't
What I do have is a blank video with the audio.
What am I missing ?

In step 2) the vob should have contained a m2v.
Try re-naming m1v to m2v, then re-mux as mpeg2.
Should now play in QT6, but not with QT5. -
Ross, thanks. I'll try. Is this a bug with bbDEMUX ?
Also, your site is very helpful, thanks for keeping it running.
