my AIW Pro seems to take forever to save a file after capture. I just captured a 2 hour movie & it took 12 minutes to save. I had installed this card previously and it only took a few seconds to save files like this. Then windows found a registry error and restored a previous version and I had to reinstall the card. Thats when it started saving slowly. I have one of these cards in another computer & it always saved slow except for a brief period when it saved extremely fast, then it all of a sudden returned to saving slow. Is there a setting somewhere that controls this? How long does everyone else's take to save? My computers are 850 &900 mhz. machines.

You need to capture to the same drive that you are saving it to. Then it will only take a few seconds.

It sounds like you may have your temp file on a different drive than where you intend to save the file, hence it has to copy the file to the other drive when you save.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
