    hey guys..
    i was wondering
    if i compress a vcd mpeg to ace or rar..will i loose quality?
    cuz the ratio is nice sometimes..

    No, you will not loose quality. But if a movie file compresses more than about 96%, this tells you that you have "wasted bit-rate" in your mpeg and that you could have made a mpeg from the same source with a lower bit-rate and would have got the same quality.
