    Hey Guys,
I am new to this scene but very eager to learn.
The problem I am having is that when I burn a VCD it freezes after about 25 minutes, frustrating!
The movies that I have are mostly DivX rips that I have obtained from the net.
I seperate the WAV from the movies using VitrtualDub and then encode the movie using TMPGenc. The movie burns fine but yet I am still faced with the same problem on all the movies that I burn.
My DVD player is an Apex AD1100W.
I would be ETERNALLY grateful for any help you could give me on this!
Thank God for Software... and for DivX.. LOL

Thing is, it only freezes about 20 minutes or so into the movie..
Even managed to burn a VCD without actually using a template and still the same.
Thank God for Software... and for DivX.. LOL

  5. It may be bad frames.
Downloasd this version of Virtualdub :
    (Scroll down to "Mp3_Freeze" version)
    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/virtualdub.html

    Then,....Open > Movie.avi > Video > Check Video For Freezes.

This will take a while so, let it do its thing.

Upon completion it will tell you how many bad frames you have.
If the number is quite small then you can extract them using Virtualdub.
