copy protection - freelock

Is Freelock is for only protecting PSX games or we can use if for VCD's also.

Also I newbie to copy protection. I did find some information in cdmediaworld. But it just says the what are all the softwares .

Can some one tell me the softwares to protect vcds and how to use those softwares.which burning software i should use.

I dont know if the VCD format natively supports copy protection. If you are looking for a secure medium, I would recommend DVDs. They are not fully secure obviously but they are better protected than VCDs.
