Menu for VCD with Nero

I created a menu with Nero and I choose a colored .jpg picture to this and I burned a VCD (NTSC compliant). The VCD plays fine in my DVD player, but the menu picture shows me in black and white colors only in my TV. All the movie its OK (colored).
Anybody can help me?

I am just now getting to know Nero and I've never tried that. Anyway, just some wild guesses that saved my skin dealing with files for print purposes..is your .jpg in quality 12 (the best)? Did you check if it was in the RGB mode and not in Grayscale or CMYK? Did you ask for a low-resolution version of it? If so, discard it. Same to pre-load settings used for web. Perhaps any of those details could mislead Nero into placing the wrong image. Hope it helps somehow.
