  1. New to this forum so HI Guys,

I have been burning DVD's for a while now, but mainly from mpeg to DVD using DVD Workshop or MY DVD, but recently i have been downloading avi files instead but when i use these programs to create a DVD from an avi file i get bad audio sinc. Any suggestions on this, should i be using a different DVD creating package, or can you suggest a package that will do everything avi/mpeg/DVD related.

    Thanks

  2. I would suggest converting from Avi to mpeg using TmpGenc with one of the DVD templates provided. For best audio quality ensure you use toolame for audio encoding and ssrc.exe for sample rate conversion if required. They can be incorporated within TmpGenc. Look to the guides (HowTo, left of page) or search the forum for more info. Once you have your DVD compliant mpeg, import to your favourite DVD authoring package, author and burn, simple as that!

    Hope this helps
