  1. Hi.
I have noticed that I akways have subtitles enabled when I play movies that I have backed up with utility. is there a way of turning these off in the re-authoring process?
    Thanks
    Andy

  2. I get the same problem with my GF's GoVideo DVD player, but not on my Apex or my bro's Bose DVD player. Other than that, DVDShrink has worked great for me.

  3. I noticed this in my Mintek DVD-1600 with a backed-up DVD using DVDShrink. I put in a regular DVD after that and it started out with sub titles..I don't know it the backed-up DVD caused that or some how my DVD player got changed to always show sub titles.

  4. Only happened to me once. I was able to click them off. I've probably done 20 movies with the software now.

Has anyone de-selected the subtitles for foriegn lanquages. I've been busy and reluctant to mess around with something that is working.

Typically I like to remove things that I will absolutely have no use for in case they end up "getting stuck on" i.e. foriegn audio.

  5. The 2 DVDShrink copied movies that I played on my GF's DVD player both started with the subtitles, but I was able to hide them using the remote control.

I'll try copying the same 2 movies without the subtitles and see if they play on her DVD player.
