Im using 6 Yamaha 24x10x40 with 3 Tekram SCSI. I use Padus Discjuggler for burning and all cd-r's are 24x capable.
when I burn it one at a time I was able to write at 24x, but if I tried writing 6 at the same time i can only write at 16x.
whats wrong?? Pls help!!

I don't think that your SCSI card can handle this through-put. Burning at 16X is 150kBps x 16 = 2.4MBps then, this rate times 6 is over 14MBytes per second. This is probably close to the maximum sustained transfer rate of your card.

I have just given up on disk jugger completely for large scale projects. We could never get more than 3 cd burners at 40x to work at a time. We did scsi, ide, firewire, etc. Tried to stuff 6 40x plextors in a chasis, and it cant handle it.
We went with the ACARD cheap-o 1 to 7 duplicator controller. Writes to 7 drives at a time at 40x. (can go up to 14 drives).
