    I'm using Windows XP MovieMaker to capture AVI and then TMPGEnc to convert to MPEG(VideoCD). My stuff looks OK? Is there a better way with the tools I have to make VideoCD's?

    Did you review your options to the left under CAPTURE ?

    Obviously with a firewire connection, if the Dazzle drivers will let you, you could use

    Sonic Foundry Vegas Video
    Adobe Premier
    Ulead products, etc...
