    my philips 711 keeps pausing during svcds i used to set the biltrate lower in tmpgenc and it would work but its been a while and i dont remeber a good biltrate to set it at so it wont pause.

    I know the Philips DVD711 Player has problems with SVCDs. But all is not lost you can fix this by downloading new firmware for your player(Most Philips DVD Players can have their firmware upgrade and your player is one of them). Try this site.....
