PCTV Rave: black & white image, no sound, crash

Hi! I have the following configuration:
VIA, NVIDIA TNT, PIII 866, 128MB RAM, Win98 SE,
Logitech WebCam USB, Agfa SnapScan 1212P, Trust Digital camera. I've just buyed PCTV Rave. After installing it (CD version 5.1) I have no conflicts, DirectX tests OK. I've connected the card thru a
S-VHS cable with my VCR. Only three "features":

1. Image black & white.
2. No sound (yes, I've connected audio out of the card with line in, yes line in is enabled and volume is NOT set on zero - very useful advices)
3. System freezes when trying full-screen

Have you selected PAL instead of NTSC, have you been into the settings and selected where the audio is coming from ? Line in ... Is it mono, and you have the balance control on the wrong channel
