I have an ATI RADEON 8500, 64MB DDR, DVI AND TV OUT card.
I have a 10 yr old Orion TV (Pal/Secam) with no SVHS connection.
It only has an RF input and a EURO-AV scart plug.
I have the short SVHS -> composite connector which I have tried to connect to my TV as follows :
1) by connecting via Euro/AV scart directly at back of TV
2) by connecting to JVC VCR through Scart at back of VCR and then connecting to TV via RF out
3) by connecting to JVC VCR through Scart at back of VCR in and via Scart out to TV
I get picture but ALWAYS black and white. Am I doomed to purchase a new TV ? Is it because my TV is Pal/Secam ?
Thanks in advance,

are you using a svhs or composite to scart convertor connector. In my experience these regualrly fail and produce a b/w picture
