I simply cannot create good quality. My source is at good quality, it is recorded on a DV-cam and captured through firewire.
Here is the way i do it:
Export from Premiere via Avisynth, i leave all the settings in Premiere as is (for example picturesize 720x576, because they seem not to have an influence). I start TMPGEnc, load SVCD-PAL-Template, and let encode. I tried switching around with High or highest quality, i found a small improvement if i apply a filter deinterlace... but whatever i do, quality is poor (blockiness) and not at all comparible with for example the SVCD-example on this site.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
