hi i'm looking for a dvd player that will play everything you can drop into the disc tray and has the ability to output to a ntsc (u.s. compatable) tv. the formats i need the player to support specifically are dvd, dvd+rw, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd-r, vcd, svcd, dvd in PAL format, dvd in region free format, mpe, cd and cdr. i have been told that the coby dvd507 is the only player that will do it all and converts pal to ntsc and vice versa, but i have never heard of coby. anyone know about this player or coby? or is there a player that comes better recommended. my computer burns to dvd+rw format, but i have been unable to find a major brand player that will handle it. my car player, audiovox, will play everything but the region free dvds. as far as i know audiovox doesn't make a stand alone player for home, only the car and a portable model (i don't need the screen). thank you.
joe
