I am trying to convert an AVI w/DivX 5.02 or Mpeg4 compression to Mpeg2 using CCE, but I keep getting issues. I can't figure out how to properly "framserve" it into CCE. CCE (version 2.5) keeps telling me that the format isn't supported.

Even when I record HuffyUV compressed I get the same thing. I can't record completely uncompressed b/c I don't have the HD space to handle it. I was trying to use the frameserve function in VirtualDub as suggested in a tutorial on conversion, but CCE doesn't recognize the ".vdr" format that Vdub puts out as a frameserver.

Anyone else managed to get captured video into CCE? How? I'm at my wit's end.
