apex 1500 play mpeg and mp3 toghter

have any one notice that the apex 1500 can play both mp3 and mpeg in the same cd. in other word the this apex can play mpeg video with out converting into vcd formart.

Yes, very much so.

In fact, due to some compatibility issues with audio and mpeg1, I am finding that I get even better results playing mpeg2 data files off the browser menu from a data CDR in the Apex AD-1500. It's essentially like a command-line DVD playing system. uh, or something.

then you have an idea what i'm talking about. THis is my plan, put a harddrive in the apex 1500 with mp3,mpeg1, mpeg2.

I think it would be great if this works. Please try it out and let us know the results. I've made discs with various MPEG encodes of the same clip to do a quick side-by-side comparison of quality. I'd love to be able to stick a 60G hard drive in there loaded with videos. Or heck, hook it up to an Orb drive.
