Hi all,
I've been using Vegas Video 3.0 the last couple of days to try to cap vhs video to burn to VCD. The video I want to capture is about 45 minutes long. So far, I get about 10 minutes into the video and it quits capturing due to the 4 GB limit. It is recording into an umcompressed .avi format I guess. At first I was using huffyuv then I tried a couple of other ones including the mjpeg format and a different yuv format. Every time it quit about 10 minutes in. I want to record into .avi because as I have read, it is the best quality format, but it seems like there would be some way to get mor than 10 minutes out of it. What kind of compressed codec should I use? I am using WinME. I would really appreciate some help because this is driving me batty!!!
Thanks...

This is how you bypass the 4gb minimum problem. -
This is another way to beat the 4GB file-size cap:
