Logos such as the Dolby, Thx, or one of the surround sound.
I want to use to burn with Nero on my VCD formatted Dvd ripped movie.
I notice the link on vcdhelp under the tool section but the format are .tif and .wmf. Aren't those pictures format similar to .jpeg or .bmp?
Where can I get .mpeg1 version of these logos?

Here is some VOB versions (mpeg2)

Use DVD2AVI the same way you do with DVD vobs.
and re-encode it to mpeg1 VCD bitrate in tmpgenc.
I just tested one VOB, and it was NTSC interlaced.
So do NOT use forcefilm in dvd2avi if your vob is also interlaced.
