A complete newbie wants to know how I can get an SVCD to play on my Samsung DVD player. The info I found talks about applying a "trick" to the header. It was something about changing the header to "VCD" rather than "SVCD" but I'm unclear if this is done within TMPGenc or somewhere else or how its done. If its done in TMPGenc do I still burn it as a SVCD with the burning software? Any help is appreciated

thanks friend but do I have to have the file in MPEG-2 format before I run this through TMPGEnc as shown?
The screen print shows the input and output files with the same name. Surely this can't be correct.
