After ripping a DVD with SmartRipper, getting the WAV/D2V files with DVD2AVI, and re-encoding it to MPEG-1 with TMPGEnc (704x352 resolution), I can play it fine on my stand alone Panasonic RV31K.
However, I've noticed that the voices of people (all of them) are lower pitch than when I heard them on the DVD. What's causing that and can I fix it? The quality of the sound from the XVCD is great though, but lower in pitch ever so slightly but definitely noticeable.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
