    what are the bst programs to use to rip a dvd to yuor hd and convert and encode it i use smart ripper dvd2avi and tmpeg can i get some help to get the best qual out of these plus give me some hints i tried to use dvd2svcd but did not work for me so i need some help i got the dvd on my hd and have dont the dvd2avi so can i get some help

    I've been using Smartripper, DVD2SVCD (CCE 2.5SP encoder) and then VCDEAsy to burn, works just fine for me

    i use smartripper, dvd2avi, tmpgenc and i have not had any trouble with anything since i learnt how to use them .. vcd or svcd.

    I use CladXP>Tmpg>Tmpg>bbmeg>vcdez

    I used to use Smartripper but w/ Clad it will rip and frameserv thru dvd2avi all in one shot.
