ok... to the point.... i recently downloaded a movie from a friend. it's called "china strike force." it's in avi format.. i extracted the audio with virtualdub. then i encoded it to mpeg format using TMPGEnc. I burned it with ahead nero and then i played it on my dvd player. i watched it on my dvd player to test it out....
the audio is perfectly fine....but the video was really f***ed up. sometimes the video went really fast and sometimes it went really slow... i watched the mpeg file on my computer and everything was fine... i dont know wut the problem is. can someone help me?

Try converting the extracted wav with a program like GoldWave, to the proper wav format. Most likely you have a movie with variable bitrate. If you extract the audio and save with goldwave it puts it back to Constant bitrate. then just encode the seperate files to 1 mpg with TMPGEnc.
