    I have here a dvd file which is 4.21gb in size but when I import it to SonicMyDVD it ends up being 5.46gb.

    What am I doing wrong?

    i don't know for sure, but when you import, you may be importing compressed mpeg 2 audio.,

    Mydvd may be decoding the audio into PCM, which is sooo much bigger.
