  1. I am new to converting .avi's to .mpeg's but I think that my problem may have an easy solution. My copy of TMPGEnc always returns an error message of CAN'T LOAD P3PACKAGE.DLL whenever I start to decode an .avi either to VCD compliant .mpeg or SVCD compliant .mpeg. I CAN'T GET THE THING TO WORK!! HELP....ANYONE!! Thanks!!

  2. Try uninstalling your tmpgenc and download a new copy from the tools.

    The download is a zip file, make sure when you unzip it, that it re-creates the structure correctly. You should end up with a template folder, the dll you refer to is in the main folder.

    With WinZip right click and select Extract to > c:\XXX\TMPGEnc VVV etc

    Where XXX is the folder you have the zip, and VVV is the version number
