Currently, I have a "RADEON VIVO 64MB DDR" and I usualy capture videos from the composite output on a Sony 19-micron head VCR (on w2k, using ATIMMC 7.6 (since I had some capture problem with 7.7)) using a custom mode where I capture video as:
- NTSC
- 720x480
- MPEG1
- Only I frames (basicaly I am producing MJPEG files)
- Audio at 44.1Khz

With this configuration I have no frame drop on my system. And, from there I can compress easily files using TmpGenc to create VCDs (with video corrections).

Now, I have seen that mwave.com is sellling an "Aeolus Ti4200" VIVO for $165, and I am interested in upgrading my 3D card, but I need to be able to continue doing captures using this model. Can anybody tell me if they have this working on their system using this video card ? (from what I have searched on the forum, it seems that there may be some problem still)

Thank you for any help.[/u]
