Hi,
just noticed that the new version of CCE regains .avs support. There seems no trial downlaod at this stage. Anyone using it care to share your
opinions re: quality, speed & stability??

You can also get the new CCE 2.64.01.10 from official cinema craft site which supports avs, too
And the important feature (since 2.64.01.09) is:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New feature
- Supported Avisynth and VirtualDub.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- long filenames are working again
- no more problems reading audio in avi 2.0
As to 2.66beta:
- quality and speed is similar to CCE 2.62 (around 10% slower than CCE 2.50 )
- stability is good but there are some bugs, too which causes CCE to crash.
For quality purposes: there are some new filters, f.e. low pass filter and vertical filter (but they slow down encoding of course).
I donīt like these filters much as they do soften the image again more than cce already does.
