When I encode from the m2v and ac3 files in Tmpeg the audio is out of sync. Is there a way to correct this in Tmpeg? I've tried converting the ac3 to mp2 but audio remains out of sync.

Well, if the audio is continually the same duration out of synch, you would use your audio program to add silence or trim your audio until it is in proper synch.
If your audio gradually gets worse, you would also use your audio program to stretch or slightly compress your audio file until it is in synch again.
Use these guides. It is not as difficult as it seems. The correct procedure is really only a few steps. Good luck
