  5. I would like to do that too but , It takes too long.

I have no idea why the sound is lost as I pointed out, If it works on the first 2 disc's , why not the 3rd.

I guess it's why we bang our heads against the wall and say why, lol

Ok, there are a number of things to consider.

When you first download the movie, it should play with no problems. If at this stage there there a problem... FIX IT

A lot of FAKE movies out there can make you waste a lot of time

No point in doing anything else... Most of the time its a missing codec, so Install the Nimo codec pack
    http://nimo.everwicked.com/ http://perso.wanadoo.fr/nimo/

Or if your using Mpeg 2 (SVCD) install PowerDVD 4, it provides the correct codec.

Next you should load each AVI into Vdub, don't go straight to TMPGEnc, as there may be problems you don't know about. If you load an AVI into Vdub and it immediately tells you the audio has a VBR (Variable bit rate) you need to save the audio out to be used later.

But first you need to scan for junk frames, if there are any, forget saving out the audio, instead save out another copy of the AVI using full processing mode for both audio and video.

    Audio SAVE Only
    Audio > full processing mode
    Audio > Conversion > 44.1Khz
    SAVE WAV

That is one method, sometimes the DVD rips have AC3 audio, you can use a special version of Vdub "Vdub AC3" best version is on Kazaa, but you can get another from http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/virtualdub.html (Disable firewall to download)

    Another way
    Audio > direct stream copy
    SAVE WAV

Rename the .WAV to .AC3 then use headac3he to convert to WAV
    http://mitglied.lycos.de/darkav/svcdguide/svcd.html

You don't need to save out the audio unless there are problems.

Finally when you have the AVI and audio move on to TMPGEnc

TMPGEnc, Make sure you also download the VFAPI plug-in

    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4

Click the Load Button and select one of the VCD templates (PAL or NTSC) depending on your country, or player capabilities.

You can select a SVCD without having the Mpeg 2 codec in older TMPGEnc, if you have the new TMPGENc Plus, then you need PowerDVD 4

Click Run, but stop after a few minutes and check the output.

    DONE
