I just picked up an Apex 1100W, 1meg version. I have created my
first VCD from a DVD rip of Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust.
It plays perfect on my PC but in the player the audio stops for a split
second about every 5 seconds. The video, however, is fine at first then
starts slowing down the further into the movie I get.
This is what I did to convert to VCD:
Downloaded movie DVD Rip in avi format.
Extracted audio with VDub and made a MPEG with TMPGEnc using
the extracted audio.
Converted resulting MPEG to a VCD format using Kwags template
to fit a movie on one CD. I used the 352x480 template.
I noticed on KVCD that the file needs to be 29.97fps for the Apex 1100W.
Could this be the problem?
Thanks in advance
Sorry. One more item: I used Nero 5.5.4.3 to burn it. I did not use it
to make the VCD, just to burn.
Another update: This choppiness happens on both CD-R and CD-RW media.
