Pioneer DVR-104 and 2X query

Hi there, I have a Pioneer DVR-104 drive that I purchased recently. I am using Nero 5.5.9.0 to burn to DVD but I am only offered the option of 1x. I thought that this drive was capable of burning at 2x or am I missing something?

Any advice would be greatfully received.

It works with only 2X certified media (eg. Pioneer, Apple, TDK, etc.). What media are you using?

I also have that problem, but more importantly...

when i try to burn an iso over 2gigs it gives me this message "The file "xxxxxx.iso" is larger as 2GB and therefore cannot be stored into an iso file system" i dont know what the could mean....

please help if possible.
