Need info about my DVD player

I was given a Koss KD260 dvd player and I would like to know if it is vcd and/or svcd compatible. There is no info in the manual provided with the dvd player and I was not able to find the info on the web.

Anybody can help me?????

The first is for the Koss KD210 and the second is for the KD250. Couldn't find ANY info on the KD260.

I would also like to know about this player. I went to buy an Electrohome like mine for my Sister at Costco (Canadian) but it has been replaced by this Koss KD260-2 for $144 Can. I will be going there again in a few days with a handful of SVCD's to try it if no one else does first.

Bought one of these units... So far no luck with VCD or SVCD. Anyone else with success? They look like a rebadged Oritron unit (look at Oritron web site). Specifically look at the picture of the DVD2117...
