i have recently Put "the others" onto DVDR, i have no files on the hard drive now of that film, or when i had to rempeg it. But about 50mins into the film the audio goes out of sync for about 20mins then corrects it self. Is it possible to rip that vob file(s) back to the hard drive an change the audio sync?

ok i have the VOB files on the hard drive from the backup of "the others" and in VTS_01_03.vob and VTS_01_04.vob is where the audio is out of sync. From 50min 16secs in first vob upto 1hr 25mins 32sec in second Vob file. Can i extract the movie out of these 2 vob files, stretch the audio and hey presto? or is it not that easy? if i can get the video out of them 2 files, could u tell me how to get the video streams out of the vob files.

begining to think i smell seems no one has replied
ok to make it a bit easier for u all, this is what i need to do as i can do the rest. From the VOB files i need to make 1 Mpeg2 file and 1 AC3 Audio file. Then i can reauthour the DVD. After i used something like sound forge to compress the audio.
also does anyone know where i can get a demo copy of DVDMaestro or something. -
wayned16 - not going to happen my friend, you need to get the original dvd back and redo it.
