My PC DVD drive has finally died after 3years hard labour, it was well overdue a replacement anyways.
Can anyone recomend a decent replacement, theres so many to choose from

Require : Standard DVD ROM (not a writer)
    Budget : £50

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.......
    cheers

they're all basically very similar really.

if you're up for it and installing it yourself, try the samsung. You can get this from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk for £25 plus postage (probably £3.99 in addition).

you can blow your remaining 20 quid on a couple of films then!

  6. The current Samsung DVD drives offer the best bang for the buck
in my limited experience, and can be flashed to region free (as can others.)
